Lucent Worldwide has worked on and completed many prestigious projects in India, China and other countries like The Golden Temple (India), Jaipur Pink City lighting (India), IFC Changchun China, Kunming Convention Center China, Qingdao Flower Exhibition Center China and The Britam Tower Nairobi, Kenya.

Sarvdeep was awarded and invited to present a paper by the European Parliament in Brussels for creating Beautiful Nightscapes and preserving the Beauty of Night for projects in China in 2017.

In a few words, Richard has been active in the professional lighting industry, and more recently in aviation, for over 25 years. During a very diverse career, he has been involved in and responsible for product design, customisation, production, sales and marketing as well as most recently head of training and strategy for the a few large European lighting companies both as staff and also freelance. Projects he has been involved with included many global retail clients in Europe, the Middle East and Asia and numerous infrastructure projects such as airports, universities, hospitals and museums. His roles with a few very prominent international airports surround passenger experience, terminal design and other key operational areas.

A Bachelor of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Praveen Thampi completed his Masters (M. Tech) in Illumination Technology from M.I.T, Manipal with flying colours & started his career as a Lighting Designer with Philips Lighting in the year 2000. He then went on to do his M.B.A in International Business from Apollo University, USA, before the inception of his own Architectural Lighting Design & Consultancy firm called The Ministry Of Light, in 2004. He is a Member of the Indian Society of lighting Engineers (ISLE) & IALD –International Association of Lighting Designers. He believes that Light is one of the most Ancient & yet one of the most complex Technologies known to Mankind which is still evolving; and Lighting is a combination of Several fields which Includes Lighting Science, Quantum Physics, Physiological Neuroscience, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering & Optical Science. He believes that to be a Successful Lighting Architect one has to have a good understanding of Art & Architecture along with In-depth Knowledge on the above mentioned fields. He is a born Artist & has a special talent in understanding & analyzing Building Architecture. Over the years he has “Conceptualised & Designed” the lighting for several world renowned Monuments & Heritage structures. The 2003 Discovery on Non Image Forming (NIF) effects of Ocular light offered options for lighting solutions addressing both the Lighting needs for Vision and the Physiological effects of Light on the Human Circadian Rhythm. Praveen Thampi is one of the Pioneers who adapted the findings of the Physiological Effects of Light on the Human Circadian Rhythm into 24x7 Office Lighting Design wherein people working in 24x7 Call Centers across India were provided with melatonin suppression boosts with higher colour temperatures of Light in their workspaces to enhance their performance, reduce fatigue levels & keep them fully active especially during Night Shift Operations. Such lighting solutions resulted in a win-win situation for the employee and the employer as it improves the health and well-being on the one hand and increased productivity on the other. In 2004 he won the IESNA Illumination Design Award & the Philips International Lighting Design Award for the JP Morgan Chase Bank Call-centre at Mindspace, Mumbai for his Innovative Office Lighting Concepts. In 2010 & 2013, he won the E&Y Economic Times Award for ‘Excellence in Architectural Lighting Design”

He is one of the few Lighting Consultants worldwide who Specializes & Spearheads Innovative & Sustainable Office Lighting Techniques by blending the ASHRAE Standards, CEN, CIBSE LG7 Guidelines, USGBC LEED Standards & WELL Lighting standards and follows the New Lighting Quality Standard Concept – LQS for all his projects. In 2008 the firm designed the Lighting for the Suzlon-One Earth Campus in Pune which is one of the Highest rated Platinum Green Buildings as per the USGBC LEED NC Standards & is also the First Platinum rated Green Building worldwide that complies 100% to the CIBSE LG7 Guidelines. Innovation in design & Applying new Lighting Technologies has been at the forefront of all his projects & thus most of the Projects designed & executed by him are Benchmarks in the Industry. Amedeo Guidobono Cavalchini, architect lives and works in Milan.

In 1998 he won the Tiziana Mascheroni award in the Young and Design competition. He worked with Paolo Rizzatto for many years and in 2000 he opened his own Architecture and Design studio on the the Naviglio Grande near Milan. He works at several renovations of interiors with particular focus to exhibition design and lighting design. Since 2005 he has worked at diverse projects, from layout and display for trade fairs and retail, to the complete interior renovation of stores in Italy and abroad (Bratislava, New York, Copenhagen, Paris, Moscow, Stockholm). Particularly noteworthy is the "Teatro della Luna" renovation in Assago (Milan), which was published in Domus (March 2007) and the entire master plan for the Assago Forum (Milan), commissioned by the Cabassi Group.

Specialized in exhibition design and museology, he covered for many years the role of exhibition design leader for Luceplan SpA, for which he also designed several products. He won the Honorable Mention at the XXIII edition of the Compasso d'Oro in 2014 in the Exhibition Design category with the setting "Gino Sarfatti, il design della luce" at the Milan Triennale.

He collaborates with various manufacturers of lighting equipment including Artemide, Davide Groppi, Lumen Center Italia and Vibia. Founds, with the engineer Francesco Chiodaroli, Litelab, an independent lighting design studio. He is a lecturer in the Lighting Design Department at the NABA (nuova Accademia di Belle Arti) and at the European Institute of Design (IED), both in Milan, where he teaches and follows the Product Design thesis.

Kelvin Ashby-King has been in the lighting industry for over 30+ years and is the Principal Consultant/Managing Director of T2 Consulting Group which has offices through Asia and the Middle East. Kelvin started his career as a Theatre Lighting and Sound Designer, but soon moved into project and architectural lighting. Kelvin established his own practise in New Zealand in 1986 and then moved with the work to Singapore and on to Bangkok. In 1998 Kelvin establish an office in India and has been here since. With a background in Electronics Engineering, Harmeet has been amongst the first Solid State Lighting specialists with Philips Lighting, India. In 2005, more than a decade ago, he founded Design Matrix - the country's first lighting design consultancy along with his mentor Sanjeev Nangia. Design Matrix was established in an era when architectural lighting design as a discipline was in its infancy in India – when the only lighting designers were either in theatre or Bollywood. Since then, Harmeet has directed over two hundred projects ranging from a 200 sq.ft. boutique showrooms at Emporio, New Delhi to the 50 lakh sq.ft. Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Smarak at Lucknow. Nirmit Jhaveri, is a Master of Architectural Lighting Design from KTH, Stockholm and has a Bachelor of Architecture from CEPT, Ahmedabad. Where he went to study on a student exchange scholarship at prestigious ETH Zurich. During his career he has had a chance to work on projects of some of the famous architecture luminaries like BV Doshi, KB Jain, Dominique Perrault, Helmut Jahn and Jean Nouvel.

Over a decade of rigorous professional practice he has to his credit a spectrum of several noted projects that span a wide range of scales and typologies and are located across a wide canvas of geographical regions, which continues to build upon through a lighting design studio: atelierdada which he jointly established with Marie Ikram Bouhlel.

His engagement with Light and Lighting goes beyond his practice. He shares his passion for light with students at NID and CEPT through workshops and courses on light and lighting design, guides and reviews thesis in light and exhibition design.
